Before You Say Yes
A simple starting point for thinking more intentionally about your next career move.
A moment to pause before you say yes.
Career decisions can be exciting, but they can also be influenced by salary, title, pressure, fear of missing out, or simply wanting to leave a situation that no longer feels right. This scorecard gives you a simple way to step back and look at an opportunity more intentionally.
Rather than asking whether a job is objectively “good”, it asks you to consider five areas that shape how an opportunity may fit into your life: Role, People, Growth, Life and Money. Your ratings are not designed to make the decision for you. They are there to help you notice where an opportunity feels strong, where there may be gaps, and what deserves a closer look.
Take your time. Answer honestly. And remember: a good opportunity is not automatically the right opportunity for you.
Rate the opportunity
For each factor, choose a rating from 1 to 5. Rate the opportunity as it actually appears — not as you hope it will.
Rate all five factors to see your result.

Once you've rated all five areas, we'll show you where the opportunity currently appears weakest.
